Using Photosharing Sites in Lifelong Learning

I can see the use of photosharing sites in the context of supporting facilitators presenting material. We offer a wide range of art, history, and music classes. All these topics could benefit from the facilitators being able to gather examples and easily display slide shows to their classes. The challenge for us as a lifelong learning program will be to help our facilitators become comfortable with the technology that is available to them. We offer facilitator training regularly, and it is something I will consider at least sharing with them (the next training is next Tuesday). In particular I am going to focus on an upcoming class, the China Connection, in which participants will be doing their own research and presentations, and our Winston Churchill history class. I think both classes could benefit greatly from the potential photographs available on through Flickr or other sites.

  1. I wonder how many of your facilitators would like this course?
